Forever Friends

 If sorrow was paper, I would throw it away without a second thought. 

If happiness was water, I would drink it. 

If dreams were everlasting, I would live forever. 

At times, life is hard but friendship keeps us pressing on. 

A true emotion it is from the heart, 

It's there right from the start. 

Friendship is a network which doesn't require any recharge, charging, roaming, validity, and activation, just be careful not to switch off your heart because that is where friendship resides.

Ambitions

 A is for achieving, it maybe hard but nothing you want comes easily. 

M indset, go with positivity and you will succeed definitely. 

B rush aside boulders on the road to your dreams. 

I nspiration, look up to those who came before. 

T est yourself, push yourself to the best you can be and beyond. 

I ntrigue, have a hunger to learn more. 

O vercome your doubts, obstacles are there to be beaten. 

N egativity is always there if you look for it so never give up and never let negativity take over. 

Chase your dreams and don't rest until you succeed. 

Braces

They saw my attractive smile but only a very few understood the pain behind that smile. 

The bruises, the scars, etc. 

No-one can understand the pain hidden behind my sweet smile. 

They strapped them on so long ago,they are now a part of me. 

Wondering when they are going to rip them off and set my poor teeth free. 

For so long, they have hurt me, they have torn my mouth to bits. 

Bearing all the bruises and pain, I want to call it quits with the best result and a beautiful smile. 

When people ask me the reason behind that smile?  

I will surely reply with a smile: 

The pain, sorrow, tears and bruises associated with my braces, the wire along with the braces(the most painful) and the jaw aligner. 

Manipulators

 Manipulative people don't question themselves. 

They don't ask themselves if the problem is with them. They love and always say that the problem is with someone else. 

It's not about who is real to your face, it's about who stays real behind your back. 

A real friend tells you the truth even when it hurts and they don't infact never talk behind your back. 

Don't worry about people who gossip and talk behind your back, they are finding faults in your life instead of fixing the faults in their own life. 

In life, always choose your friends wisely. Some have your back while others talk behind your back. 

Just because they hang around and laugh with you doesn't mean they are your friends. 

People pretend very well. 

At the end of the day, real situations expose fake people, so, be wise in your choices and pay attention. 

Saphed

 White is snow falling on the ground, 

It's clouds in the blue sky. 

It's the splendor of flowers blooming, 

It's the richness of pearls. 

It's the pale morning sky. 

It's the crisp winter chill. 

It's as sweet as vanilla. 

It is purity and radiance, clarity and peace. 

It's the mystery of the moon. 

It is the color of power and love. 

The color "white" has a lot of significance. 

White exists in paper, it exists in a white rose, there is namak ka saphed( salt's white), milk's white, seashell's white, a saree's white and a swan's white. 

So, all in all white is everywhere. 

It is a wonderful color since all the shades of a rainbow can be observed from white. 

For me, white is just a plain paper put in front of me so that I  can paint the canvas with my lovely ink. 

As a writer, my definition of white is the paper's white. 

Dolphins

 Dolphins splish splash in the waves, playing games, they are like moving surfboards in the water. 

One fine day, I layed on the beach until the morning sun shown, 

Then she came like a gift from the sea. 

I knew somehow she came to try and interact with me. 

She chittered, chirped, played and danced. 

She made me smile throughout the day with her innocent yet naughty tantrums. 

Eventually, I understood the language she spoke.

It was full of freedom, hope, happiness and love. 

Her dance more graceful than the talented ballerina. 

She was generous enough to help me swim so that I wouldn't drown. 

I feel her warm love and endless care. 

Then it was time for her to leave me, but I knew she would come back to see me soon. 

She has shown me that I have a dolphin inside me who is happy and free. 

We humans, should learn the values of friendship and care and we should stop polluting our water bodies with harmful chemicals to save these innocent creatures from extinction and to deserve to be around them. 

I love dolphins because they love to play and play, they jump and dive all day. 

They like to spend time with people and give you a sweet smile. 

I live to smile and make you smile.

FAREWELL

A poem which was dedicated to each one of my college mates during our farewell that was yesterday. An emotional yet sweet and heartwarming poem!

Though farewell is the agenda today and friendship cannot be broken. Since it's never ending and like the spring season. 

All the moments experienced here have twined us and these memories will pinch us. This college is the place of friendships and a temple of learning. 

Biding a farewell to you all doesn't mean you all aren't my friends anymore, 

it doesn't mean our relationship is dead. 

It doesn't mean I am bidding a farewell to all of you forever. 

This is not the end. 

It just means I will really miss you all till we all catch up again once we leave. 

Once we all were strangers and we didn't know one another. It just started with a simple "hi". 

And now is the momentous time when we all have to say goodbye. 

The time we spent was more than just a series of memories, we learnt what it meant to trust someone and what is the true value of friendship. None of us know what the future holds but we are entering university soon. But this isn't the end of the book, we are just turning and flipping a page. 

I couldn't be more ecstatic that we all met. Parties, a field trip, we did it all and made each one of them memorable. I wish we would have met sooner, it's too early for us to part. Nevertheless, we are bound now and forever. Yes! That's true and we know it in our hearts. All of us have dreams and aspirations and so, we walk towards those final gates. A tear in the eye, yet a smile on the face. 

Now for us, a new journey awaits. Miss you all so much and hope you all have a bright future ahead.
