Respect

 Respect can be shown by doing small things 

 We all can appreciate the comfort it brings

Giving is something only you are capable of deciding

What gets in the way is pride

People often tend to forget that others have feelings 

Being inconsiderate and rude in their dealings

Choosing gossip over communication

Hurting others with their fabrication and behind the back talk

This isn't the way things should be so, alternately we opt for courtesy

Our differences need not lead to yelling

The way we handle ourselves is the key here and is quite telling. 

Respect can't be ordered, it can only be given as a gift

Trust is not demanded but earned, get the drift

Love can't be begged for or taken, it can only be given from the heart

Reaching out to someone and trying to make their day is not the end, it's just the start. 

Show respect even to the people who don't deserve it not as a reflection of their character, but as a reflection of yours. 

Always, give respect and take respect! 

You can't force someone to care, love and respect you as much as you do but never settle for less than what you deserve and refuse to be disrespected.
