Your Words Felt Like Sunshine

 I told you I write,
like showing you a little piece of my heart.
You listened kindly,
like a soft breeze on a hot day.
You smiled,
like the morning sun touching a fading flower.
Then you said,
"It was a blessing to have you in our class today."
Your words felt warm,
like a cozy blanket on a cold evening.
You didn't read my blog yet,
but you saw my love for writing and exploring new things,
like seeing a tiny flame become fire.
Your kindness will continue to stay with me,
like a sweet song in my heart.

The Last Letter

I write to you dear grandmother in heaven,
To say the words you never got to hear.
I miss you more than words can say,
I wish you never went away.
Time just passed so quickly,
I can't believe it's already been 9 months.
But in my heart, you will always stay.
I think of you every single day.
This letter holds all my love so true,
Forever and always, I will remember you.
A grandparent's love is like no other, respect it while you have it and spend time with them - it will make them happy and keep them healthy.
Listen to their stories so they feel loved.
I am sure all the time spent, and memories created will be worth it for sure.
Don't regret once they are no more.

A Friend Like You

We sat on the same bench each day,
Shared our lunch and laughed in play.
You knew my dreams, I knew yours too,
We stayed friends, so kind and true.
Marks never made or broke our bond,
It was how we smiled, how we grew fond.
A look, a joke, a shared sweet roll,
That's how we knew we made each soul.
Your smile made my sadness go away,
Your jokes brightened up my day.
You were there when I felt low,
You cheered for me to help me grow.
Even when I didn't do well,
You believed in me- I could tell.
We drew on books, made paper boats,
Wrote small secrets in little notes.
We were kids with simple hearts,
Finding joy in small parts.
No need to win, no need to race,
Your friendship was my happy place.
You liked me just as I am,
Not for marks or any exam.
Now life is big, and days move fast,
But school-time friendship will always last.
I still remember me and you,
The soft, sweet bond - a friend so true.

A Wish For A Sibling

 Watching others laugh and play,
feeling something's far away.
A quiet wish lives deep inside - for someone close, a friend and guide.
A hand to hold when days feel tough,
A hug to make the hard times soft.
Someone who knows the real inside,
Where secrets live, no need to hide.
A friend who listens without words,
Who understands without being heard.
Like a second parent's care,
Someone always near to share.
They don't get mad for little things,
They help when sadness stings.
They share the fun, the tears, the pain.
And stay close through sun and rain.
Silly fights will come and go,
But the love between them will always show.
A quiet wish that always stays inside,
For a sibling to be a guide.
A gentle voice, a steady hand, the best companion,
Someone who will understand,
A quiet strength that always stays,
To guide and love through all life's ways.
